Appointed on Advisory Commission Arts- JFK Center for Arts
President Barack
Obama has appointed Indian American attorney Amy K SIngh into the
President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts for the prestigious John F
Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Amy K Singh practises in
areas of entertainment, advertising and marketing, and offers
counselling to clients on Television production, event production and
others. Previously she held several positions, like General
Counsel/Senior Vice President of DDB Chicago Inc, and as an associate
in Sidley Austin LLP. Singh was a member of the Junior Board of the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently on the Board of
the Mikva Challenge.

India's Lunar Orbiter/ probe Finds Ice Water on Moon- 40 craters!

Discovery! India's lunar orbiter Chandryaan 1 has detected ice
deposits, astronomers reported Monday, in the Moon's north pole
craters. More than 40 small craters ranging from 1 to 9 miles across
containing water ice turned up in the search by the NASA "Mini-SAR"
radar aboard India's Chandra...yaan-1 spacecraft.

cricket hit by Another Match Fixing Allegation On Feb 26,2010
PCB Chairman Ijas Butt reveled in an official press conference in
Pakistan. that the Intenational cricket Control (ICC) has handed
evidence and proof of Match fixing by two current Pakistani
players. Allegations are against Kamran Akmal and Naved Ul Hassan
according to press reports. This followd the recent suspension of
Captain shahid Afridi for tampering with the official ball and last
weeks sacking of a PCB Board member for match fixing and previous bans
